I was always fascinated by the great outdoors ever since I was a kid and I have continued to explore the magnificence that nature has to offer through various camping and backpacking trips. A great part of my adventurous life is due to my family’s regular visits to National Parks when I was young. I used to get quite excited when I saw a park ranger and I used to admire them for their knowledge on various types of information. Whenever someone asked who I would be when I grow up, I would not hesitate to say a park ranger.
I am happy to state that I’m indeed a park ranger now and that my wife and children are equally as enthused as I am when it comes to exploring the great outdoors. During the years gone by, I have realized that working as a park ranger is not merely leading tours and being in the great outdoors all day. There’s much more to do and sharing my knowledge with the kids who come on school expeditions and groups of camping enthusiasts who may be new or well seasoned is a very exhilarating thing to do.
You would think that after spending the entire week outdoors in the woods, I would be thankful to snuggle up on a couch and watch some TV during the weekend. Well, I am the complete opposite. I get together with my family and we spend our weekends and holidays exploring the woods, camping and even hiking along. We make it a point to locate new destinations as much as possible when on holiday.
This site contains content about the adventures with my family, the camping trips, the gear that we make use of and even a few tricks and tips that you can make use of when camping. If you have any more questions, use the contact page and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
